This is totally unrelated to weddings, but these knitted cozies were just too cute to pass up this morning! Recissionista Find: Special Occasion Shoes at Target

Honoring your Family Ancestry

There are a number of ways you can honor your family ancestry or deceased loved ones, but one of my favorite ways to do this is to carry a family heirloom with your bouquet. Pictured above is a bride who carried her grandmother's rosary to honor her Roman Catholic heritage. I've also seen brides carry a small Bible down the aisle, as well as an antique brooch pined to their bouquet wrap. Carrying a family heirloom with your bouquet is the perfect sentimental touch to a wedding ceremony!

Add a Splash of Color!

I love love love the idea of a bride wearing colored shoes on her wedding day and had to share this adorable photo with all of you this morning! This trend is definitely on the rise and I sure hope that it sticks around for awhile. Not only is this a creative way to set your wedding apart from the rest, but it also makes for a great photo op!

Steelers Garter Set

Being the HUGE Steelers fan that I am, and with the Super Bowl right around the corner, I thought it would be fitting to feature this Steelers garter set today. Maybe I am a bit bias, but I personally believe that Steeler fans are the best of the best in the NFL.
